New Mexico is incredibly beautiful. I went last month for a little solo trip — originally about 4 days solo in Santa Fe and a couple in Denver to meet up with an old college friend. I wondered if that was too much time wandering on my own, but totally fell in love with the beauty of New Mexico and ended up extending my time there. Sandy adobe against a brilliant azure sky and the open road. So freeing to take a vacation alone. The Southwest is enchanting.
