First loves – separated by continents and years – reunite. This was honestly the most lovely wedding I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect, to a T. The pure love just emanating from my cousin and his new wife was incredible, as was the love between all the friends and family, new and old, spending the evening on a Maine homestead by the river. The atmosphere was incredible and I could spend days exploring the the woods, the river, and the gardens. I can’t get over how beautiful and tasteful the entire night was, and with such loving spirit.
I’m going to let my photos speak for themselves. The rest of my wedding photos can be found on my flikr page, and here is a post about the rehearsal dinner. My dad will also soon be posting his photos to another flikr site as well. Oh – and to tie this into “yummy”, we had delicious mussels, Gulf of Maine shrimp, sausage, local veggies, an assortment of homemade pies by the guests, and homemade jams as gifts from the bride and her mother. Not to mention the wine brought by Josh and Caite’s friends, who own a vineyard in Napa. It. was. amazing.
Congratulations Josh & Caite!!! I’m so happy for the two of you.
Love, love, love this. Sheila, you rock!
